FERA Exhibition (London, UK)
The acclaimed Brazilian artist duo warmed up the London winter with their tropical wonderland exhibit: FERA, a pop-up exhibition in London showcasing the artworks of internationally famed Brazilian duo of illustrators Bicicleta Sem Freio (“Bicycle Without Brake”). This ephemeral exhibition opened to visitors in REXROMAE gallery from the 5th through the 8th of March.
Following their recent international large-scale public artworks across Europe and America in major cities likes London, Berlin, Miami, Las Vegas or Los Angeles (where they painted the largest building ever in DownTown), Bicicleta Sem Freio aka Douglas de Castro and Renato Perreira are preparing for their first ever solo show in London UK, where they will translate their signature style of highly expressive line work and vibrant color palette writing into fine art works with confidence.
“FERA”, translates from Portuguese to mean wild or savage, intends to present on canvas and paper their unexpected juxtaposition of imaginary, rock’n’roll and often provocative subjects. Their sophistication is revealed by the layers of ideas they picture and the references they suggest, showcasing an ironic pop iconography.

Bicicleta Sem Freio was invited by Okuda San Miguel in Spain to participate in Iam TITANES project to complete a collaborative monumental mural painting benefiting spanish non-profit Labordavia.
Estau Festival (Estarreja, Portugal)
Bicicleta Sem Freio was invited by Urban Art Festival Estau to produce a massively impressive artwork on the wall of Cine-Teatro de Estarreja. The massive mural presents multiple lively elements, deeply inspired by local fauna and flora, a true hymn to music and to the so typical “joie de vivre” of the south hemisphere.
Blink Festival (Cincinnati, Ohio)
The Brazilian duo Bicicleta Sem Freio brought color to Downtown Cincinnati and the Findlay market community with a fresh mural for Blink, one of the largest art, light, and projection mapping urban events in the US, under the curatorial stewardship of Justkids creative house.

Under the program of Bananada arts and music festival of Gôiania, Bicicleta Sem Freio were approached to create a large scale mural intervention in the famous Centro Cultural Oscar Niemeyer façade.

Bicicleta Sem Freio partnered up with with Marriott Rewards and JUSTKIDS to commemorate the NBA Global Games in Rio. Working on the busy streets of the Catete district in the beautiful Zona Sul of Rio, the talented Brazilian street art duo worked their magic to create this vibrant mural which is showcasing some of their iconic style and imagery.
Life Is Beautiful Festival Headliners Original Posters
Bicicleta Sem Freio collaborated with Las Vega’s inaugural Life Is Beautiful Music and Arts Festival in 2013. They created a series of original band posters and illustrations bringing a rush of striking and vibran art to the promotion and celebration of these internationally recognized musicians.
